Submission rules of tuition fee waiver applications
Those who applied for the AY2026 first (spring) semester tuition fee waiver, when the situation stated in the application for the first (spring) semester 2026 are NOT changed as of October 2026, the Statement (Form D) needs to be submitted instead of the Tuition Fee Waiver Application Form and other required documents.

- The application will not be accepted after the deadline for any reason. When you send the application documents by post, it must be postmarked on or before the deadline.
- Read Submission Guideline before submission.
- The application will be excluded from screening procedure if all required documents are not submitted. Click here for more information
- Undergraduate students whose residential status is other than “Student Visa”, such as the Permanent resident, Long-term resident or the Spouse of the Japanese national, must contact the Financial Support Section for eligibility.
- Postgraduate students whose residential status is other than “Student Visa”, such as the Permanent resident, Long-term resident or the Spouse of the Japanese national, use Checklist A and submit the required documents of your family in Japan.
